Update on Activities and Events

Welcome to summer everyone!  The following activities will resume as shown below. This calendar may be updated intermittently for changes. Check the City’s website, www.ventnorcity.org, and this Facebook page for additional or new information.

June 8 - Tennis and pickle ball resumes. For more information call 609.823.7950 

June 8 - Use of parks, playgrounds and fields for non-game practices up to 25 people max 

June 8 - Double and quad rowing permitted 

June 15 - Outside dining, in-store retail shopping 

June 22 - Salons and barber shops open

August 8, 9 - City wide yard sale 

August –Absecon Island Surfing Contest, date TBD 

August – National Night Out Canceled

September 4 - Ventnor Mile Run 

The following precautions apply across all stages of reopening of activities or events:
- Social distance
- Wear masks in public when indoors and recommended as needed outside
- Wash hands
- Disinfect
- Minimize gatherings
- No mass gatherings, < 25 in one location

There may be other requirements to be followed based on event or activity.

As of now, there will be no surf camp, no summer baseball, no basketball, no volleyball, no county baseball league, no summer sports camp, no police national night out. 

On site cultural arts classes may resume late summer.

City events will be posted on the city’s Facebook page and website at appropriate times.

*Clinically high-risk individuals who can stay at home should continue to do so.

*All residents and businesses should follow state and federal safeguarding guidelines.
