Winchester Avenue Water Main Replacement

Ventnor City will begin a water main replacement project along portions of Winchester Avenue, Dudley Avenue and Surrey Avenue beginning October 5. Construction is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026.
The project includes replacement of the water main, water service laterals on the street side of the meter, fire hydrants and gate valves, as well as deteriorated water meter pits as needed. Areas disturbed during construction, including concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway aprons and traffic lane striping, will also be restored.
Construction will be completed in two-block sections, beginning at Dudley Avenue and continuing north. Parking and traffic will be restricted or prohibited within active construction areas.
