Ventnor Invites Community to Review Revised 2026 Master Plan Reexamination

The City of Ventnor is inviting residents, business owners and members of the community to participate in the continued review of the 2026 Master Plan Reexamination ahead of the Planning Board meeting on Monday, September 28.

A Master Plan serves as a roadmap for how the City grows and changes. As part of the reexamination process, Ventnor considers how its neighborhoods, businesses, housing, infrastructure, environment and development have changed and identifies policies, priorities and regulations that may need to be adjusted for the future.

Following the public meeting held on August 6, the draft Master Plan Reexamination has been revised to reflect comments and recommendations received during the meeting, along with several additional recommendations.

Among the items included in the revised draft are:

• Pursuing Federal Opportunity Zone designation (Page 49)
• Exploring amendments to RSIS parking standards (Page 46)
• Considering a beach locker pilot program at Dorset Avenue Beach (Page 51)

Community members can review both the revised 2026 Master Plan Reexamination and a PowerPoint presentation summarizing the plan prior to the September meeting.
