Ventnor Fishing Pier Notice - Friday, July 3, 2026

Due to the City's Independence Day Fireworks Celebration, the Ventnor Fishing Pier will have temporary closures throughout the day on Friday, July 3. 

Fishing Schedule:

Fishing will NOT be permitted from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM on July 3, and will resume after the fireworks, if conditions allow.

Pier Closures:

•  11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (approx.): The entire fishing pier will be closed while the fireworks are loaded.

•  1:00 PM – 8:00 PM: The section of the pier beyond the second gate will remain closed for public safety. The remainder of the pier will be open.

•  Beginning at 8:00 PM: The entire fishing pier will be closed to prepare for the fireworks display.

The Ventnor Fishing Pier will be open at night on Saturday, July 4 for watching the Margate fireworks
