Lead Service Line Replacement Program

Ventnor is in the midst of replacing all lead service lines, or the pipes that carry drinking water from the city water main into homes, throughout the community.
All residents with lead service lines are automatically enrolled in the program. Those with potential lead lines will be inspected and replaced by 2031 if needed. Residents can help with this process by helping to identify if their service line needs to be replaced. Visit the program website to learn more.
In February, the City held an informative community meeting to help guide residents through the process of how lead service lines are identified, why removal is necessary, and how replacement works from start to finish.
