City of Ventnor ordinance #2026-006

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF VENTNOR TO CREATE ARTICLE XXIX OF CHAPTER 102 OF THE CITY CODE ENTITLED “AFFORDABLE HOUSING”

                NOTICE is hereby given that the foregoing Ordinance was introduced and passed a first reading by the Ventnor City Board of Commissioners at a meeting held on February 26, 2026. The foregoing Ordinance shall implement new rules and regulations governing the construction and provision of affordable housing within the City of Ventnor, pursuant to recent State legislation addressing the Fourth Round of State affordable housing obligations of municipalities.  Copies of this Ordinance may be obtained without cost at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30PM.  Notice that this Ordinance will be considered for final passage at a meeting of the Ventnor City Board of Commissioners to be held at 5:20 p.m. on March 12, 2026, in Commission Chambers City Hall, 6201 Atlantic Ave., Ventnor City, NJ at which time and place opportunity will be given for a Public Hearing on this Ordinance.
