Atlantic County Update on the Dorset Avenue Bridge

Corrections to the PLC program have been completed and maintenance to the bearings were proven successful, however test openings will be implemented for the next 48 hours to ensure the bridge can be safely operated.  The Bridge Operator will be notifying OEM when this is to occur during each shift.  For the next 48 hours we will also be opening the bridge to on-demand marine traffic.  If no issues are encountered within the next 48 hours the bridge will be fully operational.  Some additional work is still scheduled to be performed and will require a bridge opening to last approximately 30 minutes which will impede traffic from using the bridge.  As soon as we know more information when this work is to occur, we will notify you.
