Ventnor Receives Community Forestry Management Plan Funding

Ventnor has received a $20,000 grant to update its Community Forestry Management Plan and complete a tree inventory.  This work will allow the City to qualify for tree planting and maintenance grants.  The Plan also reduces the liability associated with tree care throughout the City.   

The Plan will assess the existing tree resources in the City, current maintenance practices, and will outline achievable goals across four categories: Plant, Protect, Maintain, and Remove.  The Plan will include a recommended annual work plan and projected budget.
