Ventnor Receives Grant for Water Tank Repairs

The City of Ventnor, in our continuing efforts to improve the City’s infrastructure, has received a $65,000 Planning and Design grant through the NJDEP Technical Assistance program for improvements to the Surrey Avenue Water Tank. 

The improvements will include repainting the interior and exterior of the tank along with interior repairs. 

The City has also applied for funding assistance through the NJDEP I-Bank program for the construction costs which are anticipated to be approximately $1.25 million. 

Construction is anticipated to begin in October 2025 and be completed by spring 2026.
