Division of Construction Code Enforcement
As Construction Code Official, Jimmie Agnesino supervises,
co ordinates and maintains the official records pertaining
to building permits, plan review, inspections, and activities
of all third party inspectors contracted for the purpose
of providing required inspection and plan review.
- Review and approval of construction related permits based on the BOCA code
and the NJ edition of the International code as adopted by the City of Ventnor
City;
- Enforcement of BOCA code and the NJ edition of the International code rules
and Regulations
- Issuance of building, electrical, plumbing permits based on the BOCA code
and the NJ edition of the International code
- Inspection of all work performed under said permits
- Verification of compliance of all proper permits
The Ventnor City Code Enforcement Office functions under the UCC (uniform construction
code) as adopted by the State of New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
