Boardwalk Entertainment is happy to announce the first five food trucks registered for the Ventnor Food Truck Festival on June 10th at Ski Beach off Dorset Ave. The event is a new event for the city, and will feature a total of 7 trucks, multiple vendors, the KidZone, live music and more throughout the day. The website for the event was launched earlier this week, and can be found at www.ventnorfoodtrucks.com.

The registered trucks are CAPE MAY BARBECUE, featuring BBQ items including burgers, hot dogs, and pulled pork; KONA ICE CAPE MAY, featuring gourmet shaved ice; MOOCHEEZE, featuring grilled cheese, mac and cheese, and more; AUSAMS TROLLEY STOP. featuring wraps, bison burgers, turkey burgers, and GRUBAHOLICS, featuring Jamaican product such as jerk chicken cheesesteak.

"I think we have a very unique festival, and I love this variety of vendors," says Boardwalk Entertainment owner, Amanda Thomas. "We've got everything from the standard hot dog and burgers to a bison burger and a jerk chicken cheesesteak. These aren't typical food items for the area, which makes the festival really special."

Live bands to be featured include the Tree Rats reggae band, Doghouse Roses, and Pure Acoustic.

The event starts at 11 AM and goes until 6 PM and has free entry. Food prices range will from $5-$15 for a meal, and some options include smaller bites. The KidZone will be on site and will feature a bounce house, balloon artist, face painter and more. Entry into the KidZone is $5, which includes all attractions, even face painting, and directly benefits the CompleteCare Family Health Foundation. Guests do not need to purchase food to enjoy the festivities, however no outside food or beverages are permitted.

Commissioner Tim Kriebel says The City of Ventnor is excited to have the opportunity to showcase the City and Ski Beach. Commissioners Tim Kriebel, Lance Landgraf and Mayor Beth Holtzman all plan to attend the event.

"We are excited for this new event and partnership that we believe will enhance the Ventnor experience for both residents and visitors," said Landgraf. "I personally can't wait for the event. "

"I am so excited about this event and hope to see all our residents there," added Mayor Holtzman.
